Whytecliff Park Elopement – West Vancouver
Carley and Mitch knew they always wanted an intimate, low key, and very them elopement, and Whytecliff Park in West Vancouver, B.C. was the perfect setting for them to elope. Carley and Mitch chose to have their elopement at sunset at Whytecliff Park in West Vancouver, and if you know us, you know golden hour is our jam! We recommend doing an elopement at golden hour, which is normally about an hour or so before the sun actually sets. We’re so thankfully and honoured to have photographed and filmed many golden hour elopements over the past couple of years, here’s a few we’d love to share with you:

Elopement ceremony at Whytecliff Park, West Vancouver
Whytecliff Park is this beautiful destination in West Vancouver that gives you some of the best views of the ocean, ferries coming/leaving from Horseshoe Bay Ferry Terminal, provides a great view of the mountains, and if you’re lucky, whale watching. With a ocean backdrop ceremony, surrounded by just a small handful of friends, Carley and Mitch said their private vows for their short and sweet elopement ceremony in West Vancouver. Their vows had everyone crying, as strangers passing by congratulated them and cheered them on. Earlier in the day it had been off and on again raining, and when the sun came through for this spectacular elopement, gifting us with the most beautiful West Vancouver, British Columbia sunset, ohhhh my goodness, game over!
We were lucky enough to be in the small group of humans who even knew that these two were planning on eloping, and they actually let us know at their elopement that they planned on telling their PARENTS with the elopement video Morgan was working on creating them (peep that down at the end of this blog post, word of warning once you hear those wedding vows, you’ll definitely need a kleenex). We are so thankful that Carley and Mitch trusted us to photograph and film their super intimate and special elopement and for spending some of the first few hours as officially married with us running around the beaches and cliff side at Whytecliff Park in West Vancouver.
