WHY ELOPE?
Close your eyes (okay don’t actually, cause then you couldn’t read this),
I want you to picture your best friend, your sweetheart, your holding their hands, your reading hand written vows, they are thumbing away a tear off your cheek, you are sucking back boogies. Where are you? Who else is there? What does it sound like? Is there music? Chatter and laughter? Bees buzzing all about, maybe a few cute birds chirping you on, or perhaps it’s the sound of the ocean waves, the smell of salt water and seaweed and adventure.
The thing is, your wedding day is about you and your babe. If the stress of planning a full scale wedding, with 100+ guests, being the center of attention for all those humans, truly freaks the bajesus out of you and stresses you to the nines, honestly, eloping may be an amazing solution for you.

Maybe that looks like waking up on your wedding morning together in an airbnb and having breakfast and coffee in bed together. Maybe it’s helping each other get ready, holding their face in your hands and slowly kissing their forehead. Maybe it looks like climbing into a helicopter for a mountain top ceremony with just the two of you, your officiant, and us of course. Or maybe it’s having a candle lit ceremony with just your parents and siblings present. Maybe it’s heading into a classic Pacific North West forest, the rain lightly misting down, the fog rolling down, big cedar trees keeping you dry as you two say your vows and the rest of the world disappears.
There are so many reasons why we love elopements, and love photographing and filming elopements. No elopement is the same, and each couple deserves to tell their love story, their way, and we are here to tell your story.
