If you’ve never been been out to The Pipe Shop wedding venue in North Vancouver, B.C., well then, START THE CAR!!! This wedding venue has all the industrial vibes mixed with a city skyline backdrop, nestled in the heart of North Vancouver specifically at the Lonsdale Quay. Morgan and I had wanted to photograph and film a wedding/elopement editorial at this beautiful venue for a while, and when the opportunity to do this with Elyse and Co Events we leapt at the chance to make some beautiful art at this stunning wedding venue.

The vision for this elopement editorial was an intimate and playful day filled with so much love between our couple. Starting with our main wedding dress, a stunning almost a node to the 90s scoop neck classic white wedding dress and veil paired with a navy blue suit that tied in nicely with the florals, decor, and even invitation suite, perfecto I tell ya! Later on, we had our couple change into their “reception” outfits, which included such a fun short white dress, an up do hair style paired off with a grey suit looked amazing together. I remember at our own wedding day, by the time dancing in the reception started, the absolute NEED I felt to change out of my hot, sweaty, and heavy wedding dress and into something lightweight and to get my hair out of my face! I would have loved for a dress as beautiful as the one we photographed here by Union Bridal/ Pure Magnolia, with it’s lightweight long sleeves, adorable hem line, and the fit of this dress, seriously such a great reception wedding dress.

We cannot wait to shoot a big and beautiful wedding day at the Pipe Shop Venue in North Vancouver this wedding season, and are so happy we got to photograph and film this elopement editorial here.
