UBC Sage Bistro Big Italian Wedding – Vancouver Wedding Photographer

Ever wonder what an Italian wedding looks like that’s filled with 265+ guests, so romantic, a music video featuring the bride and groom singing together, a 3 course dinner, an hour long church service, hand written love letters between the bride + groom, a sparkler exit, with photographers on site for 13+ hours? Well welcome to Alex + Paulo’s wedding day held at UBC Sage Bistro in Vancouver, BC.

Alex and Paul had us at their wedding day for 13 hours on their wedding day as there were a lot of components, a wide variety of locations, a religious ceremony, 3 course dinner, tons of dancing and celebrating and didn’t want to skip capturing any moment (which we were TOTALLY on board for). The biggest thing on a wedding day is that their wedding day, or any wedding, will basically be the ONLY thing we do that day, we may hit the gym before the start of the day (okay we probably will), but we are our couples for the entire day, no matter if they need us to start early or end late, we are there for them. As Alex and Paul had a very intense and time sensitive timeline to fit everything they wanted into their big Italian wedding, they also hired an AMAZING wedding coordinator, Michelle of https://www.shingweddings.com/. If there’s one thing we recommend you do for your wedding day, is hiring either a day of wedding coordinator for SURE! Michelle helped keep every single person on track throughout the day, ensured that Alex and Paul were happy and fed during their reception, and they even helped Morgan and I when we were organizing a sparkler exit photograph for Alex and Paul at the end of the night in the pouring rain.

Alex and Paul have become such good friends of Morg and mine, and we absolutely feel on cloud nine that we got to meet these beautiful souls. From their engagement shoot, to many beer and meetings, to brunches together, we are so lucky that we get to have a business where ‘clients’ aren’t just clients, they are our buddies!

“There is no other way to describe Kelsey and Morgan other than INCREDIBLE! We had so many beautiful shots from our engagement shoot, which was a blast! And then to get to our wedding!! We had SO. MUCH. FUN. They were getting shots all over the place and we had so many compliments from guests about how amazing they were. THEN! The DAY AFTER OUR WEDDING, they send us 35 “sneak peak” pictures! Unheard of!! Hoping they will do some maternity and family shoots for us when the time comes!”
