This Fraser Valley Wedding Venue has never looked so good – Tanna and Joe’s wedding day
Never in Tanna and Joe’s wildest dreams did they think they would end up getting married in the middle of a global pandemic, but hey, 2020 was a WILD year, and this bride and groom handled all the curveballs thrown at them like absolute champs, and they were able to have the best day ever, at their dream wedding at this gorgeous venue the Fraser Valley, BC. They had to come up with some super savvy solutions to entertaining their guests, revamping their guests list to meet with the 50 person max guest list count, supplying personalized sanitizers and customized face masks, they absolutely got SO creative so they could have still have their dream wedding day.
Tanna and Joe got married at Shelby’s Pond, a beautiful barn and outdoor space wedding venue located in Chilliwack, right in the Fraser Valley. Tanna spent her morning getting ready at a local hotel, also located in the Fraser Valley, called The Royal Hotel, an extremely unique and richly beautiful hotel only a few minutes drive away from their venue. Joe and his groomsmen opted to go for a fresh straight-razor shave at a local barber shop, Tommy Guns, before they made their way to the wedding ceremony.
The wedding ceremony was filled with heart filled hand written vows, inside jokes between Tanna and Joe (including a very sweet little prop to nod to how they first met at Canadian Tire, over a decade before), and had almost everyone, bridesmaids, groomsmen, family, friends, and ourselves, tearing up a little!
Family and friends celebrated Tanna and Joe’s wedding day at this barn wedding venue in the Fraser Valley with drinks, chatting with those at their tables, and by admiring the time, energy, and beautiful wedding theme Tanna and Joe had created for their Disney themed wedding. Dinner included some absolutely delicious bbq chicken, corn, and all the fixings, seriously, we could eat bbq all the time and be such happy humans. They came up with some super creative solutions to entertaining their guests including trivia, the shoe game, some very personal inside joke themed games ((think toilet paper rolling competition between the bride and groom)), and very meaningful speeches from loved ones.

”Kelsey and Morgan, where do I begin with these two amazing humans?! Not only are they the sweetest duo, they are the most incredible photographers we have ever worked with!!
I met Kelsey in 2017 with my now husband for a mini photoshoot which I had won, she made the environment super fun and comfortable!! It was then we decided that when we got engaged we would book with The MacLeans for our future wedding.
Fast forward to 2019, we had our engagement photoshoot at the Chilliwack Sunflower festival. We had a ton of fun running through the flowers and created memories that will last a lifetime.
We never expected 2020 to end up the way that it is now, Kelsey and Morgan were with us every step of the way. They provided us advice and moral support through every twist and turn. Our wedding day was a huge success and by this time Kelsey and Morgan were more than just our photographers, they became our friends and treasured guests. They left a memorable impression with every guest at our wedding!
