Jaclyn and Tyler were one of our wedding couples who were majorly affected by the pandemic and the restrictions that were put in place surrounding weddings and gatherings in British Columbia. As their wedding day fell RIGHT when B.C. went into lockdown in 2020 and BC entered a provincial state of emergency, they opted to get married in the local town in the Okanagan, and a few months after found out about their pregnancy!
After many many revised plans of what our bride and groom’s wedding celebration would look like, and many many more restrictions limiting our options, we decided to get these two dolled up and get some steamy, dreamy, golden hour wedding photos at a local park, Campbell Valley Park in Langley B.C.
Jaclyn and Tyler brought their immediate family along as well as their little babe, and we started off the shoot with an extended family shoot, leading into all family members having some fancy portraits with newest member of the family. Afterwards the families went home, and Jaclyn and Tyler had some time just for themselves (well, and me of course haha) to connect, run around this beautiful open field, and have an evening with just the two of them.
These two are such a powerhouse of rolling with the punches and understanding what is truly important to them both. I am so incredibly thankful that eventually, the world opened up enough to allow them to drive down to Langley, see their family again, and and spend the evening with me.
