Tofino B.C. has got to be up there as one of our FAVOURITE destination elopement locations to shoot photo and video at in all of British Columbia! Not only is Tofino the number one destination for surf in Canada (which we always try to do when visiting Tofino, and would make a pretty rad elopement morning of activity if you’re asking us), it’s such a beautiful representation of our beautiful B.C. West Coast, and an absolutely epic destination elopement location that makes for some amazing photos and videos . From the many many beaches, epic sunsets, rain forests, hikes, the ocean, hot springs, we could go on and on about our love for Tofino B.C. and our obsession with photographing and filming elopements here.

Tofino Beach Elopement Ceremony

It’s a no brainer why Alicia and Wadah opted to elope in Tofino B.C., on the sandy beaches of Cox Bay Beach, with literally just the two of them and us doubling up as their elopement photographer, videographer and legal witnesses. After quite a few rounds of wedding planning and replanning for Alicia and Wadah with all the craziness of that the pandemic seemed to constantly throw at these two, their wedding day couldn’t have turned out anymore special, spectacular, and truly one of a kind as it did.

Celebrating the elopement all day long

Alicia and Wadah’s elopement was so much more than just their ceremony, and with the biggest shout out and appreciation to their amazing planner, Shelia of Rare Earth Weddings. Their elopement included a ceremony on the beach, portraits by the ocean and in the forest, a picnic dinner for two with the most gorgeous layout and scrumptious spread, a first dance at Chesterman Beach (with the thanks of our grooms portable bluetooth speaker, and a whole lot of tears from all), and us four capping off the night with beers around a fire, chatting and exchanging stories, all under the stars. We feel so lucky that we got to be such a big part of Alicia and Wadah’s intimate elopement in Tofino. Their trust in us to be the only other two people there to celebrate, photograph and film their elopement is something that will forever hold such a special place in our hearts.
