THE BEST OF 2020 – VANCOUVER WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHY YEAR IN REVIEW
Wow, well, 2020 was a weird af year for sure, especially in our local Vancouver wedding industry. When we started the year, we were booked to shoot 27 weddings, which quickly over the months turned to 6 weddings then by the end of the year we shot 18 weddings and elopements. Phew, that’s a ROLLERCOASTER of ups and downs! But, being the optimistic humans The MacLeans are, not all this year was bad. This year we photographed and filmed more intimate weddings and small scale elopements then we ever have before. So many of these elopements and micro-weddings where we were one of the very few guests invited to the day, munching on cake and sharing sweet stories with family members. We shot multiple surprise engagement proposals, went on some absolute amazing adventurous engagement shoots that involved taking boats and 4x4s. This year really brought us closer to our couples, to the people that invest in our business and choose to support it, and that connection, those relationships, they just mean everything to us.
To all of our 2020 wedding couples, we LOVE the shit out of you all, and are so thankful to have you in our business! We cannot wait for this next year and for all the lovin we’ll be documenting.
