Swaneset Bay and Resort Wedding in Pitt Meadows B.C.

Amber and Dan went all out with their wedding day at Swaneset Resort in Pitt Meadows, B.C., and had such a beautiful vision for their wedding day: a celebration surrounded by their nearest and dearest friends and family as they start the newest chapter in their relationship together, clean and timeless décor in an elegant venue, and to spend as much of the day together, holding hands and sneaking smiles at each other constantly. They hit ALL the marks with their wedding day, and the biggest shout out to their wedding planner, Eternity Moments Wedding & Events, who helped the day fly by seamlessly and with ease.

Once we met Amber and Dan in person, it was so clear how crazy these two are for one another, and just how big both of their hearts are. They started their wedding day getting ready separately with their massive wedding party (7 groomsmen, 7 bridesmaids, all the ringbearers, flower girl and lots of parents joining in on the fun). Over mimosas and champagne popping, Amber and Dan read the love letters they both wrote for one another before heading to their first look.

A few weeks before the wedding day Morg and I went location scouting with Amber and Dan around Swaneset and the surrounding area (specially near Pitt Lake in Pitt Meadows). We showed them some of our favourite photo spots near Swaneset, and we were able to see what the lighting would be doing for their wedding day during the photo portrait time. With this in mind, Amber and Dan had a super sweet first look inside Swaneset, then we headed down the shaded tree lined driveway up to Swaneset for their wedding party portraits, followed by Pitt Lake. The heat was REAL that summer day in Pitt Meadows, so after portraits everyone freshened up before the big moment (aka the wedding outdoor ceremony).

Amber and Dan opted to have their elegant wedding ceremony outside on the lawns of Swaneset, with a harp and violinist playing live music as everyone walked down the wedding aisle. As Amber and Dan looked out at their guests during their ceremony, they were greeted by nods of approval and so many smiles from friends and family, lining the lawns at Swaneset.

The wedding reception took place inside Swaneset in the beautiful and massive ballroom, located on the top floor. Amber and Dan had their dancefloor wrapped with their names and wedding date on it, a four tier wedding cake, each table was set up perfectly, and the speeches flowed all night along. The actual partying and dancing happened outside on the patio, and I swear included some of the best dance moves we saw all wedding season!
